REPLACEMENT GARAGE INTO CARPORT AND ANNEXE

Where: Rural West Berkshire

The proposed development aims to replace the existing garage, which was too small to accommodate modern vehicle and in poor condition due to having been constructed in single leaf brickwork. This consequently made the space permanently damp and unsuitable even for garden machinery.

A barn style building of traditional design with oak cladding built off a brick plinth with exposed oak rafters and an oak staircase leading to upper-level annexe was created to replace this existing unused structure.

The annexe and carport sit in an isolated position largely surrounded by open farm land , the grounds are therefore very well screening by mature landscaping and offer the clients distant views.
